Emma and @leanna_azzolini

I found Emma 15 years ago in front of a school I was teaching at in South Central LA when she was a baby. My plan was to find her a home because I couldn't have her in my apartment. When I took her to the vet after school I was told that she had sarcoptic mange and was contagious...even to humans. After rehabilitating her for 6 weeks I was too attached and couldn't giver her up. Best thing that ever happened to us! I love everything about her. She's so smart, sweet, and well-behaved. One of the best dogs I've ever met. Life with Emma has been pretty fantastic. A year ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and Emma has been an amazing big sister. We are fortunate to have her.
