@ziggythepit & Gabriela

I met Zig 3 years ago while working an adoption event here in NJ with a rescue group. I was his handler and the second I took hold of his leash he came up to me and rested his head completely on my hand. He had been in the shelter for 5 months and I couldn't figure out why.

Needless to say I couldn't send him back to the shelter that day and we have been together ever since. We've taught each other more than I can imagine. We work together everyday to become the best advocates for Ziggy's breed. Zig has changed the minds of many people regarding his breed especially my parents' which was his biggest accomplishment. We love him like our child and wouldn't trade him in for the world.
